Gourmet Breakfast at Our Inn
Breakfasts at Through the Grapevine Inn are a unique and unforgettable experience and a great start to a great day in the Finger Lakes. Imagine waking up to the aroma of freshly roasted and brewed coffee, warm breads, and hot entrees to spark your appetite. Now think of dining in elegance by candlelight for breakfast. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, soft music playing, candles flickering, and friendly conversation.
When you arrive for breakfast, juice, ice water and hot coffee are always available along with fresh baked muffins, coffee cake or scones. Enjoy treats such as Raspberry Cream Cheese Coffee Cake, Date Crescents or Orange Glazed Chocolate Chip muffins. You will then be served a fruit course which could include our Melon and Blueberries with Honey and Ginger Syrup or Mixed Fresh Fruit with a dollop of Amaretto Cream. The main course served next could be our savory Egg Blossoms (Eggs baked in Phyllo dough) or a sweet entrée like our Fresh Peaches and Raspberries French Toast.
All of our dishes are made from locally grown produce in season whenever possible. And in fact, the raspberries and blueberries used in the preparation of your breakfast are grown in our gardens at the B&B. You may also enjoy some of our home grown vegetables and herbs in your breakfast as well as in prepared dishes like our herb-baked eggs or asparagus quiche. The bread for your toast is made at the B&B each week. Our breakfast meats and cheeses are locally made.
Our coffee is roasted and ground at the Inn so it is absolutely as fresh as it can be for our guests. Mike takes great pride in roasting and sometimes mixing beans to create his own blends.
Do you have special dietary needs? No problem. With advance notice, we can accommodate special diets like vegetarian, gluten-free, diabetic, food allergies or other dietary needs.
